"In Europe, For Europe!" XCMG Showcases "Chinese Solutions" at Bauma 2025 in Germany

On the morning of April 7 (local time), the 34th edition of Bauma 2025, hailed as the "Olympics of the Global Construction Machinery Industry," kicked off in grand fashion. Among 3,200+ exhibitors from over 60 countries, XCMG, in collaboration with Schwing, made a stunning appearance under the theme "Solid Innovation for a Green Tomorrow." The company showcased 60+ cutting-edge products across seven major categories, all fully compliant with European standards and regulations, along with customized, scenario-based smart solutions tailored to European customer preferences.

Distinguished guests attending the event included Guo Fang, Commercial Counselor from the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Consulate General in Munich; Su Zimeng, President of China Construction Machinery Association; Bai Xuefeng, Vice President of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products; and James King, Chairman and CEO of UK-based KHL Group. Yang Dongsheng led XCMG's executive team including Vice Presidents Sun Jianzhong, Jiang Mingzhong and Shan Zenghai, together with XCMG's global strategic partners, customer representatives, and Chinese-European employees to jointly witness the grand opening ceremony of XCMG's exhibition.

Inside the exhibition hall, the iconic "XCMG Gold" harmonized with the "Green Mountain" theme as XCMG established multiple partnerships with European companies. Several breakthrough products were delivered on-site, including: The world's first hybrid all-terrain crane XCA60_EV；Over 40 units of the "Green Mountain" electric excavators and loaders (the "CP Series")；The globally premiered XZ450E-R horizontal directional drill rig.

The company also achieved record-breaking orders in Europe:The largest single order for complete road construction equipment (including rollers, pavers and graders) in the European market；Sparking a surge in XCMG product orders.

"Through deep cultivation in European markets and specialization in niche segments, we're fully leveraging the combined strengths of Schwing and XCMG to deliver premium solutions for European clients," stated Chairman Yang Dongsheng, highlighting the company's dual-brand strategy for continental growth.

Currently, to meet the differentiated needs of global customers, XCMG has successfully introduced a series of landmark products into the European market, including the world's largest 2,000-ton capacity telescopic boom wind power crane, the first batch of large-tonnage pure electric loaders in Europe, and the industry's highest aerial work platform. These products serve major global engineering projects.

With industry-first innovations and global premieres, XCMG has achieved zero-emission multi-mode operations for cranes and a 200% increase in the efficiency of horizontal directional drilling. Combining diverse application scenarios with cutting-edge technology, XCMG has earned continuous praise from European customers.

If construction machinery had a color palette, XCMG’s “Green Mountain and Clear Water” hue would undoubtedly claim a prominent spot! At this year’s exhibition, XCMG showcased over 60 models across seven major categories, with 40% of them being new energy products. Through green innovation and a deep understanding of European customer needs, XCMG has returned to the essence of customer demands. All the exhibited products are customized to meet European standards and regulations, addressing application pain points and better aligning with local customers’ demands for zero-carbon construction.

On-site, the XCMG “Green Mountain and Clear Water” products, representing “energy-saving, emission reduction, and high efficiency,” have ignited a dazzling green digital product storm. XCMG has achieved the green and electric transformation of its entire product range, establishing a new energy industry chain ecosystem that integrates “integrated products + core components + operational services.” A panoramic view of green construction is now unfolding along the banks of the Rhine River.

In Europe, XCMG Group actively responds to the call of the European Green Deal, fulfilling its corporate social responsibility by setting zero emissions, low noise, and high energy efficiency as key objectives. At this year's Bauma exhibition, a series of significant localization initiatives in Europe were officially announced on-site:

The European Training Center was officially launched, initiating a new model for local talent cultivation in Europe.
The establishment of a subsidiary in Italy further advances XCMG's market layout in Europe.
The European Financial Leasing Company was unveiled, marking XCMG's first self-built financing platform in Europe. This platform supports the integrated development of the entire ecosystem, including research, production, supply, sales, service, and financing.
The German spare parts center is accelerating its construction, elevating the company's local service capabilities to a new level.
