At 14:20 Beijing time on March 28, a powerful 7.9-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, with the disaster quickly spreading to northern Thailand. The strong quake caused severe damage to roads and widespread collapse of buildings, leaving tens of thousands of people trapped.

Seizing the "golden 72 hours" after the earthquake, XCMG immediately activated its international emergency response mechanism. While directing local employees to evacuate in an orderly manner, it coordinated resources from its Myanmar office, Thai subsidiary, and local dealers. With "hardcore equipment + efficient coordination," XCMG worked to create pathways for life-saving rescue efforts.

“Quickly, the equipment must arrive before the rescue teams!”

The XCMG rescue team responded with the utmost speed, initiating the "golden 72 hours of rescue" in both Myanmar and Thailand.

The CCTV News camera captured a stunning moment: XCMG cranes, with their powerful steel arms, lifted the hope of survival for the trapped people.

The Myanmar office, in collaboration with local customers, urgently mobilized excavators, cranes, and other equipment to assist in the rescue of residential buildings in Yangon and Mandalay. The Thai company quickly established contact with the local rescue command center and rushed to the collapsed high-rise buildings in the earthquake-stricken area with aerial work platforms and other specialized equipment overnight. A total of dozens of technical experts and over 150 local employees were deployed in both locations. With the speed of "equipment arriving first and personnel following up," they seized the initiative in the golden rescue period.

As the leading Chinese construction machinery enterprise, XCMG, while deeply engaging in overseas infrastructure development, has always practiced the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind.

In Yangon, cranes precisely lifted massive debris; in Bangkok, excavators and loaders worked in tandem to cut rebar and clear collapsed materials... During the 24-hour non-stop battle, XCMG's integrated equipment demonstrated the integrated efficiency of "demolition - obstacle clearance - transfer," creating life-saving spaces from the rubble.

As of the time of this report, XCMG's local rescue personnel and dozens of pieces of equipment are still working tirelessly on the front lines of clearing obstacles and eliminating dangers. They are using their professional strength to fulfill the corporate citizen responsibility of building a community with a shared future for mankind.
